The region of the Pacific Northwest may not geographically be where you think. Sometimes referred to as Cascadia, the Pacific Northwest is the area of North America between the Pacific Ocean (on the west) and the Rocky Mountains (on the east). There is no official border, but it stretches south into California and to Vancouver in the North. Cruises in this region usually depart from either Vancouver or a cruise port in California, and are a beautiful opportunity to explore the west coast of the US into the southernmost region of Canada.
